Tamara Lloyd
Tamara began her career in real estate at the tender age of 21 completing her Business Degree with a focus on Marketing and HR at Victoria University, and soon after completed her full real estate license. Perhaps it was inevitable or fate that she would go on to own successful businesses, with both parents running their own businesses; it was in her blood.
Tamara’s passion for property and business came from the endless dinner time conversations with her father who always had an interest in real estate, business, and investing.
Tamara was also fortunate enough to have a few other mentors who took the time to teach her about running and growing businesses.
Her experiences span a variety of industries and business types. These include Gordon and Lloyd Property Management, Pinnacle Business Solutions (business coaching), managing sales & marketing for her own business at Ray White Croydon, AT Home Style – a homewares and styling business and Miss Lacey Cafe & Wine Bar.
In nearly all these businesses she has partnered with other women and has mentored them through the complexities of setting up, running and growing a business.
Prior to owning her own real estate business, Tamara worked for Ray White Corporate Vic/Tas in business development and training and developed the first online sales training course for the Ray White Group in Australia.
In 2010 she purchased a small Ray White business in Croydon. There were 31 properties under management and no sales listings the day she took over.
In the following 13 years, Tamara along with business partner Elaine who joined in 2013, they built a thriving and successful business which when sold employed a team of 27, had more than 750 properties (organically grown) being managed and had achieved numerous top 20 results for the sales business.
A recognised business leader, Tamara’s dedication to her business, her team, and her community have seen her success go beyond the real estate industry and have solidified her as a community leader.
She has won much recognition including in her 2nd year in Sales at Ray White the Number 7 Salesperson award for Vic/Tas, as well as a Business Achievement Award & Community Service Award for the Ray White Network.
One of her proudest achievements is being awarded the Rotary Award for her work with local charities and community organisations. She is also a Board Member and the current Vice President of the Foothills Foundation Charity and believes in giving back to the community.
Tamara’s approach to business consulting and coaching is very similar to her approach to building her own successful businesses – clear communication, shared goals, clear action plans and responsibilities and of most importantly she is focussed on working with business owners and leaders ready to take their business and leadership to the next level.
